The Islands Pickleball Association (IPA) is a volunteer-run, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to growing and supporting pickleball throughout Vermont’s Grand Isle County. What started as a shared love of the game has become a welcoming community of players of all ages and skill levels who enjoy staying active, having fun, and connecting with neighbors on and off the courts.
The IPA works to make pickleball accessible and enjoyable for everyone by organizing play opportunities, supporting instruction and skill development, and partnering with local recreation committees and parks. We’re here to advocate for good courts, thoughtful scheduling, and a positive playing environment, all while keeping things friendly, inclusive, and community-focused. Whether you’re picking up a paddle for the first time or have been playing for years, IPA is about enjoying the game together and strengthening the pickleball community across the Champlain Islands.
