Skill and Drill sessions are used to reinforce paddle skills and doubles play outside of competition. During these sessions, mentors may introduce new topics or revisit skills in need of additional practice.

The goal of Skills & Drills is for players to develop confidence and elevate their level of play while bonding with a group of IPA members in a fun environment.

The sessions are typically 1.5 – 2 hours long.

Topics may include dinking, proper warm up, serving, partner play, new skills, competition, and more.

The IPA will start the 2026 season with weekly training for intermediate and advanced intermediate players. Sessions will start in June at Alburgh on Tuesdays, and North Hero on Thursdays. Additional sessions may be added later in the season.

All Skill & Drill sessions will be on Playtime Scheduler. Simply search for skill sessions and add your name to sign up!

You must be a member of the IPA to sign up for these sessions. If you would like to become a member, you can sign up using the 2026 Registration button at the top of the page.
